Scheduling and the Heads-Up

Setup and Plant Protection
When we arrive, we tape off all the electrical and turn on your water, since we use your on-site supply. Before we start, we water down the surrounding landscaping, and we keep it wet through the job and after. If a nearby deck cleaning is on your list too, the same on-site setup covers it. The Soft Wash
We apply a mild sodium hypochlorite solution at low pressure and rinse, letting the solution lift the dirt, algae, and organic growth rather than blasting the siding to get there. We run a high-gallon-pump pressure washer along with a 12-volt low-pressure pump, keeping the pressure gentle on the vinyl throughout. A typical house wash runs about two and a half to three hours.

Are there any homes or types of siding you won't wash?
Yes, we have a few honest exceptions. We avoid washing heavily oxidized aluminum siding, and we steer clear of ponds with fish and vegetable gardens right up against the house to protect them. Vinyl is our standard and aluminum is fine as long as it is not heavily oxidized, and we can take care of fence cleaning on the same visit if you want the whole exterior done at once. Where there is a fish pond or a vegetable garden tight against the wall, we either take extra care or stay clear so nothing gets harmed.
How long does a house wash take?
Most house washes take about two and a half to three hours. The exact time depends on the size of the home and the number of stories, since a larger two-story house takes longer than a small single-story one.
Do I need to be home when you wash my house?
You donโt have to be home, though many customers like to be there at the end. We finish every house wash with a walkaround so you can see the results, and if you are home we do that walkaround together. If you are out, we follow up afterward with how everything turned out.
